| Frederick Albert Seegert was born in Chicago, IL on Oct. 1, 1903. Seegert settled in Santa Barbara with his parents in 1904. He was educated there in the public schools and at UC. For many years he taught there at the School of the Arts. He died in Santa Barbara on Dec. 21, 1980.
