Ann Martin Slaught was born in Montana on Oct. 16, 1898.  The Martin family settled in Los Angeles in 1902.  After graduating from Otis Art Institute, Ann married, worked as an interior decorator and then for 45 years taught art at Pasadena City College and local high schools.  Mrs. Slaught died in Duarte, CA on Dec. 4, 1989.
