| Madge Estee Spencer Stephenson was born in California on June 2, 1888. Spencer studied at UC and at the San Francisco Institute of Art in 1910-13.
Mrs. Stephenson settled in Glendale, CA in 1923 and for 36 years taught in local high schools. She died there on Oct. 23, 1963. | Source:
