| Eda Windeler was born in San Francisco, CA on April 13, 1887 of German parents. Her father Peter Windeler ran a brewery on Howard Street. By 1920 she had married Martin Hunius and settled in the Sunset District of San Francisco. She later moved down the peninsula to Burlingame and lived there until her demise on Feb. 15, 1954.
