| Carolyn Wood was born in New York in July 1863. Carolyn was educated in a seminary at Gloversville before her marriage to Clarence H. Wood about 1882. She was a resident of Madison, South Dakota in 1900 and shortly thereafter moved to southern California. She was for many years manager of the Westlake Art Studio in Los Angeles (owned by Leon and Emil Mazy). She died there on Sept. 8, 1929.
