Ross Eccles (b.1937)
He was born in Lancashire in 1937. He studied Architecture at the Birmingham School of Architecture and practiced as an architect for 30 years before retiring in 1991 in order to devote himself full time to art.
His early work was influenced by his architectural training but he soon developed a distinct, colourful, abstract style that reveals the artist’s own philosophy and vision. Ross sees his art as being highly autobiographical- each painting is a reflection and ex (showing 500 of 959 characters). |
