When Richard completed his degree in 1952, he apprenticed for three years with master restorer Gustav Klimann at the Childs Gallery on Newbury Street. vIn 1954 he established his own conservator/restoration business in Boston and throughout New England, also working with Iso Papo of Brookline.
In the 1960’s Richard had married and, with his wife and two daughters was living in rural Woodstock, CT where he has remained for nearly fifty years. He actively continued his successful bus (showing 500 of 1516 characters). |
