Artist Statement: As an artist, I strive to realize my paintings as a harmony of color and decorative form, and not a collection of details colored in with little.

Thought given to the painting’s overall effect. To achieve this synthesis, I look at my motifs as a mosaic of colored patches representing light and suggesting form.  Fine art, for me, is a very personal expression of one’s Aesthetic ideals in response to life lived.

My aim is not to copy nature, but to express my sensations and reactions to its beauty.

“Art is a harmony parallel to nature.” Paul Cezanne
