| A sculptor noted for portrait busts of famous personages, especially World War I figures such as General John J. Pershing and Marshal Ferdinand Foch, Jeno Juszko was Hungarian born and settled in New York City. There he was a WPA artist. His bust of General George Henry Thomas was one of five presented officially by the WPA Federal Art Project* to the city and specifically to the Grant Monument Association, whose members placed the busts in the crypt of Grant's Tomb.
