John Vanden Eeckhoudt is a Belgian painter, born in Brussels in 1875 and died in 1946. He was a nephew of Isidore Verheyden and a member of the XX group, avant-garde Brussels painters. through whom he discovered the artistic life of the late nineteenth century and where he met Theo van Rysselberghe, the main representative of pointillism in Belgium.
On the death of van Rysselberghethe, he finished his frescoes in the castle Morlanwelz. Also, he began exhibiting with leading Belgian (showing 500 of 1004 characters). |
