| The son of painter Deane Keller, 1901-1992, he was Professor of Drawing and Anatomy of the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts for 27 years. He had studied under his father at the Yale School of Fine Art.
Deane Galloway Keller died suddenly in 2005.
