Yadwiga Alicia Delande Giangrande (1916-1999)
Polish-Argentinian artist Yadwiga Alicia Delande grew up around artists, writers and intellectuals in her native country's capitol, Warsaw.
In 1938 she received a law degree from The University of Warsaw. In 1940 she moved to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she lived and studied painting until 1945.
Leaving Brazil, she settled in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1946 and began a three year study with the renowned artist Deme (showing 500 of 2490 characters). |
