| | Born in Greencastle, IN on Feb. 24, 1896. Zella Key wed Claude Piersall and by 1927 had settled in Reno, NV where her husband was a radiologist. While based there she was active in San Francisco during the late 1930s and 1940s. By the early 1950s she had left Reno. She married Raymond Conan and moved to Grand Junction, CO where she remained until her death on Nov. 13, 1987. Her work includes floral still lifes and landscapes. Member: Latimer Art Club (Reno).
