Artist: Sarah Bagwell Smith (American: 7 AUG 1918 - 13 NOV 2009).
Born at Onancock, Virginia. Active in Virginia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Washington D.C.

Known for: work in resinated bronze and directly modeled bronze, hammered lead, copper, silver, polyester resin, terracotta, soapstone, driftwood, and welded steel; work on paper, prints, woodcuts (showing 500 of 2773 characters).
