|Robert Seufert’s paintings are owned and have been exhibited in
twenty-three states, Canada, France, Germany and Japan, with well over
one thousand seven hundred of his original works represented in private
and corporate collections, including The Equitable Life Assurance
Company, McGraw-Hill Companies and Dewey Ballantine, L.L.P. of
Painting professionally since 1968, Robert
Seufert has won nearly one hundred awards including many best of shows
and first prizes. His works have been accepted into numerous
national and regional juried shows.

Three of Robert's oil paintings are in the permanent collection of the James A. Michener Art Museum, Doylestown, PA.
1987, 1993, 1997, 1998, 2001 and 2003 and 2004, Mr. Seufert's
depictions of national sites or national parks won him a place in the
prestigious National Park Academy of the "Arts for the Parks"
competition in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. This national competition
receives as many as 2,100 to 2,700 entries per year. Only 200 works are
chosen to be in the exhibition. Of these, 100 works are selected
enabling them the opportunity to win top prizes and travel around the
country at various galleries and museums.
In historic Bucks
County, PA , he recently captured the "Casimir and Jane P. Sienkiewicz
Award" for a traditional painting in the style of the New Hope School
at the Phillips Mill exhibition in Solebury, PA. This was the
third award he has won at Phillips Mill for his oil paintings.
trips have included stays in Arizona, Maine, Minnesota, Vermont,
Connecticut, Massachusetts and Florida. He and his wife, Alice,
also display their artwork at their studio in Bucks County, PA.
Articles on Robert and his work have appeared in U.S. Art Magazine, Bucks County Town and Country Living Magazine, the Philadelphia Inquirer newspaper, the Bucks County Courier Times newspaper, The Advance of Bucks County newspaper and Palette Talk, a publication of Grumbacher.
A recent article on Mr. Seufert and his work, appeared in the Neighbor’s section of the Philadelphia Inquirer Sunday, February 22, 2004. The InterCounty Newspaper Group of Bucks County published Robert’s oil painting Falls at Ricketts Glen in their special edition celebrating Phillips Mill 75th Retrospective Invitational Exhibition, June 16, 2005.
Falls at Ricketts Glenn is also included in the book Celebrating 75 Years of Art, Phillips’ Mill published by the Phillips’ Mill Community Association, 2005.
