| Helen K. Fonda Walker was brn in Marysville, CA in 1855. Helen was the older sister of artist Harry Stuart Fonda. While a resident of San Francisco, she made painting trips to Monterey to paint its historic buildings. She died in San Francisco on November 18, 1936.
