Allen Eckman completed his formal education at the Art Center College of Design in 1974, majoring in advertising art. He and his wife, Patty, established and operated an advertising company in Los Angeles, California until 1988 when they made the switch from commercial art to fine art.
They are the inventors of the Eckman Method® of Cast Paper Sculpture, which is trademarked as uniquely theirs. Since 1988 they have developed and perfected the medium of cast paper. (showing 500 of 1275 characters). |
