Wallace Rugg, a portrait painter who lived in the Lowell, Massachusetts area in the 1950’s, exhibited portraits and other paintings throughout the New England states. As of October 8, 2000, the opening date of an exhibit called “Remember the Ladies” at the Whistler House Museum of Art, Rugg was living in New Hampshire.
