This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Born in 1975, Daniel Lefcourt lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.  He holds an MFA from Columbia University, and A BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design.  

He has had recent solo exhibitions at Sutton Lane, London (2009); Gallery Luis Campaña, Berlin (2009); and Galerie Mitterrand + Sanz, Zurich (2007). His third solo exhibition at Taxter & Spengemann in New York is scheduled for winter 2011. His work has recently been featured in group exhibitions, including: "Knight's Move" at the Sculpture Center, in Long Island City, New York, and "Perpetual Dialogue" at the Andrea Rosen Gallery in New York.

Lefcourt has taught at Parsons the New School for Design, the Rhode Island School of Design, Columbia University, and the Ontario College of Art and Design.
