| Zanella was born in Marseille, France, and studied at the Beaux Arts in Avignon. The famous art dealer Emmanuel David, discovered him in the early 80’s while living in Vaison. In 1984, several shows in the south of France contributed to building his reputation. With the use of his palette knife, Zanella translates onto canvas with extreme precision and perfection, his visions and his dreams for the benefit of his Provence. Some of his art is permanently exhibited in the S. R. Brennen Gallery in the USA.
