Anna Paik's favorite subject matters are nudes, still-life and portraiture.
Born in Seoul, South Korea, she studied drawing and painting with figurative American painters, Sidney Goodman and Will Barnet at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia. The recipient of merit scholarships, Paik also won numerous prestigious prizes including the William Cresson European Traveling Prize, Benjamin West Prize and Thomas Eakins Prize among others.
