Dan
Dowling was born in Belfast, Ireland in 1954, and from a very early age has been
drawing, painting and generally making some kind of mark. As long as he
can remember, though not formally trained, Dan always found artwork a
necessary form of self expression.
However, he attended and supported the life and portrait classes
at the Ulster Arts Club for many years and had solo shows there at
Elmwood Avenue in 1977, 1978 and 1991. He was chairman of the Arts Cl (showing 500 of 1342 characters). |
