| Almerinda Silva was born on the Azorean Island of Feial, Portugal. At age seven, she emigrated to the United States with her parents and became an American citizen shortly thereafter. At that early age, Almerinda became fascinated with fine art drawing and painting. She exhibited a strong love for fine art museums and galleries, where she would immerse herself in the works of the great masters and significant contemporary artists. She would spend endless hours reading art books (showing 500 of 3255 characters). |
