Although a prominent sculptor, Fouad Dahdouh has also produced a series of mixed-media canvases on which he intends to have inviting textures, highly stylized figures and layers of color. His complex division of space, in
which planes overlap and perspective is distorted. With these obvious references to the
three dimensionality of sculpture, Dahdouh’s subjects are placed in unspecified settings, an element of his
