This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Frank Ellsworth Weeder (a/k/a F. Ellsworth Weeder and Ellsworth Weeder) was born in 1868 and died in 1952.

He worked in the Philadelphia area from 1892 until 1940 and was a man of modest means.  He is known to have maintained places of business and/or studios in Philadelphia at 34 S. 16th Street and at 1710 Chestnut Street.  He is best known for his beautiful stained glass work executed at the Frank Weeder Stained Glass Studio of Philadelphia.  Examples of his stained glass work can be found at Saint Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wilmington, North Carolina (14 memorial windows of opalescent stained glass installed between 1908 and 1921), at Greenwood Avenue Methodist Episcopal Church in Trenton, New Jersey (The Resurrection Window), and at the Princeton University Chapel (cemetery window with portraits of various philosophers).  He also painted and sketched and exhibited with the T Square Club in Philadelphia at their Annual Architectural Exhibitions.  He is buried in Mount Moriah Cemetery, Philadelphia.
