Alice Leisenring (1904-1986)
Born Sandyrun, USA, on 14 September 1904, daughter of Walter Leisenring (1860-1907) and his wife Winifred née Wilson. In 1911 a six year old living at The Blavatsky Institute, Ashley Mill Lane, Hale, Cheshire with her 38 year old widowed mother W Wilson Leisenring, a publisher, born Ontario, Canada who was at Hale to run the local branch of the Theosophist's Society, with Alice’s sibling brother 8 year old Walter, born Hazleton, USA.
