Studied under W. Herbert Buck Dunton; famous Taos artist who was one of the founders of the Taos Society of Artists. Mentored under Dunton in Taos in the 1930's and then moved to Albuquerque with his wife Fay, who made the hand carved wooden frames for his paintings. (One son and 2 daughters) He painted western subjects.
