Born in 1972 in Tours, Bertail studied the Beaux Arts in Angoulême where he met Thierry Smolderen with whom he collaborated on the diptich L'Enfer des Pelgram at Delcourt in 1990 and 2000.
In 2004, he began the series Shandy with
writer Matz at Delcourt. Dominique Bertail is furthermore active as an
illustrator (Bayard, Fluide Glacial, Casterman) and a story-board artist
(advertising and cinema). He is the author of the albums L'Homme Tableau(2000) and L'Hom (showing 500 of 745 characters). |
