Brigitte Nahon, French born, creates sculpture that investigates what she describes as precious moments of balance between
tradition and modernity. To pursue her quest for perfect balance between
paradoxes such as fragility and solidity, heaviness and lightness,
emptiness and fullness, air and water, she uses a wide vocabulary of
materials, colors and textures including steel, glass, crystal, stone, brass, wood, canvas and paper.
In 2006 she became an American, and in 2008, she became an Israeli Citizen. Her studio is in Tamil Nadu, Israel.

She teaches Sculpture for M.F.A., Art Institute of Amiens, University of Picardie, France. In 1985-1991 studied for her P.H.D. in Fine Arts, University of Paris I Panthéon- Sorbonne, June. From 1986-1990, she was Director of C.N.R.S. Esthetic Studies Department at Paris I Panthéon- Sorbonne. 1985 Diploma for preparing P.H.D. in Fine Arts, University of Paris I I Panthéon-Sorbonne, June. In 1984 she earned a Master in Fine Arts, University of Provence, Aix-en-Provence, June.
