| The following information is from Anne Faulkner, great niece of the artist.
His birth name was Raymond Lloyd Faulkner, but he never used Raymond - all of his work is signed Lloyd Faulkner. He was born in 1892 in Minnesota and lived his entire life there. He died in St. Paul MN in 1972.
He painted in oil and watercolor - mostly landscapes, but did other subjects as well. Professionally he was an illustrator for the St. Paul Dispatch Newspaper.
