| Joseph H. Bayless was born in Louisiana in 1853. While a resident of San Francisco in 1874-82, Bayless worked as a draftsman and painted landscapes in his leisure.
Exhibited: San Francisco Art Ass’n, 1874; Mechanics' Institute (SF), 1877, 1882.
