| Working with David Swing, Florence Blakeslee designed a WPA project series of twenty-three sculptured reliefs that can be seen (preferably with binoculars) near the top of the fifty-foot-high grandstand" of the Arizona state fairgrounds. (Birmingham 17)
By 1949, Blakeslee was in Los Gatos, California, where she was editor of a publication named "Palette" and one of the organizers of the Los Gatos Art Association.
She is buried in the Golden Gate National Cemetery.
Little is known of this artist.
