 Santibáñez moved from his native Uruguay to attend the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, graduating in 1996. His works have been exhibited in the Treccanni Museum, Milan (2003, 2004), and in Plus One Plus Two Gallery, London.
In 2004, he participated in the Taller Experimental Cuerpos Pintados, Santiago de Chile.
