| Edythe M. Stansbury was born in California on August 17, 1886. Stansbury appears to hve been a pupil of Dana Bartlett. A skilled plein air painter, her rare landscapes of southern California are similar to those by Bartlett. A spinster, she died in Los Angeles on January 20, 1961.
