| | Bonnibel Martin Welch was born in St Louis, MO on Oct. 10, 1887. At age six "Bonnie" Martin studied at the CGA. She grew up in Washington and in 1900 came to California with her family. About 1905 she married Ed Welch and settled on a ranch in Imperial Valley. Locally, she taught art in the public schools for many years. Later in life she was the wife of Lou Blakesley. She died in Butte, MT on July 2, 1967.
