This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Anna Eggleston's childhood love for art was fanned into passion by an influential art teacher. She found her purpose in lending meaning and significance to the object of her brush. Using a thick application style and favored warm and cool earth tones her work touches the realms of realism and impressionism. Through still life paintings she takes inanimate objects, which in and of themselves do not stir any emotion or call for attention, and breathes life into them,  providing more purpose to their creation. With her figurative work, Ms. Eggleston is able to capture the beauty of the body while creating a mood in which divinity shines out from the subjects' humanity.

Ms. Eggleston attended Brigham Young University and there received her BFA in illustration. She also received professional training through an apprenticeship with William Whitaker. Two thousand ten was her debut year; her works were featured in galleries, exhibitions, and accepted into the Society of Illustrators Annual Student Competition.
