| Dorothy “Dee” Creel Hendricks Stetler attended Texas State College for Women where she designed stained-glass windows for The Little Chapel in the Woods. \
Initially a fashion illustrator for Cox's and The Fair store, she studied with and was friends with many of the pioneers of the so-called "Fort Worth Circle." Her preferred media was watercolor, but she also worked in oils, acrylics and pen and ink. Her last works were created in 2006.
