| Jane Cotton Fletcher was born in San Diego, CA on November 9, 1911. Jane graduated from San Diego State College in 1934 and taught elementary school before her marriage to Willis Fletcher in 1937. Mrs. Fletcher continued to teach art during her long career. Her traditional landscapes later evolved into abstracts. She died in San Diego on April 16, 2006.
