Fred I. Ochi, an Idaho landscape artist and businessman who recorded the history of Idaho in watercolor paintings for more than six decades, passed away Feb. 8, 2007, at the home of his son in Idaho Falls. He was 93.
Best known for his paintings of Idaho's red barns, Ochi could be seen with his easel and canvases sitting on the roadside capturing the rustic scenery. Within 30 mi (showing 500 of 4618 characters). |
