| John C. Brennan was born in Virginia on October 20, 1895. Brennan was a clerk in a railroad station in Portland, Oregon in 1930. By 1940 he had an art studio in Los Angeles. Many of his landscapes were done around Topanga Canyon. He died in Santa Clara, CA on December 16, 1962.
