| Herbert R. Earhart was born in Ohio in 1875. Earhart was an insurance agent in 1910 and civil engineer in 1920 while living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. By 1930 he was a statistician in Columbus, Ohio; and by 1936 he was a commercial artist and resident of Laguna Beach. He died there on January 8, 1941.
