| Woodward Hackney was born in Missouri on December 23, 1899. Hackney was in Olathe, Kansas in 1920. By 1930 he was attempting an acting career in Hollywood. By 1940 he was a muralist in Los Angeles.
He died in Santa Barbara on January 13, 1985.
