Erik Boone (1938-2012) was born on March 30 in the Belgian city of Ghent in 1938. He was a painter, draughtsman, watercolourist of child portraits, still life,flowers, animals and cityviews in the Tachism* and Post-Impressionist* styles.
He trained at St.Lucas Institute in Gent, led by Max Vandamme and Jef Wauters. He became a teacher at the same
Institute.
Erik Boone died on 27 January 2012 in Gent.
