This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Eulalie Mulford Banks was born in London, England on June 12 1895.  By age 12 Eulalie was designing and selling greeting cards and at 14 was illustrating a monthly children's story for a magazine. 

After marrying Arthur Wilson, the artist moved to Pittsburgh, PA.  By 1928 she was a divorcée and living in Los Angeles where she painted Mother Goose murals in the nurseries of Charlies Chaplin, Harold Lloyd, and other movie stars.  For a few years in the late 1940s she again lived in London where she continued illustrating books and magazines. 

Upon returning to Los Angeles, she remained until her demise on Nov. 12, 1999.  Her pen name was simply Eulalie; she signed her murals and books with a little mouse in blue velvet pants.
