An important Canadian Inuit (Eskimo) sculptor, carver, draftsman and ceramics artist, John Kavik was born in Gjoa Haven, Northwest Territories [now Gjoa Haven, Nunavut] and died in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. His work is most associated with Kangiqlliniq, [Rankin Inlet], Nunavut where h (showing 500 of 12425 characters). |
