Biography from Greg Thompson Fine Art:
Robyn Horn was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas and now lives in the Greater Little Rock area where she is a full time professional sculptor and painter.

She received her B.A in art from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas and was awarded the prestigious "Arkansas Living Treasure Award" from the Arkansas Department of Natural Heritage. She serves on the board of the Arkansas Arts Center Foundation, and on the board of the Thea Foundation.

Horn's contemporary sculpture forms, created from different exotic woods and metals, bring a visual cornucopia to the senses. . . one that is rooted in the sublime of nature, with a nod to the dynamics of the shared human experience.  Her two dimensional works are exploratory extrapolations from her sculptural forms through the intimacy of paper, canvas and wood panels.

Work from Horn's 30 year career can be found in the permanent collections and public collections across the country including: National Museum of American Art, Renwick Gallery, Washington, DC; Ogden Museum of Southern Art, New Orleans; Minneapolis Institute of Arts, Minneapolis, Minnesota; Arkansas Arts Center, Little Rock, Arkansas; and Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, Bentonville, Arkansas.
