This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Albert Marston Wright was born in Paskenta, CA on Feb. 15, 1879. While based in Redding, Wright studied in San Francisco at the Mark Hopkins Art Institute until the earthquake in 1906. During the 1920s he lived in Santa Cruz and Oakland. Survival was difficult for him during the Depression. Mentally disturbed, he was confined to Napa (CA) State Hospital until his death on Jan. 3, 1941. Member: Santa Cruz Art League. Exh: Oakland Art Gallery, 1928.
