JM.L. POUM MALAKOUL (Bangkok, Thailand 1910-1973)
Poum Malakoul, born in 1910, was the son of the Royal Household minister, M.R. Pum Malakoul. He studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Nancy, France.  Malakoul was initially an architect and designed the Erawan Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand as well as the Chitrlada Palace, Monument of Victory (1941), Carlton Restaurant, Royal Hotel and Sida Club. The artist received awards for his designs of the SEATO emblem and the stamps for the (showing 500 of 2187 characters).
