Steve Anthony Stephen Murillo
b. 1949
    
Steve Murillo is a Wichita artist known for murals and large-scale public art sculptures. He received his BFA and MFA from Wichita State University and later taught there for twelve years. He was resident artist at the Michael Karolyi foundation in southern France, served as an artist-in-resident for three years in the state and was awarded an artist residency at Rocky Mountain National Park.

Steve maintains an active studio and gallery in Old Town, Wichita, KS. As an art consultant to the City of Wichita, Murillo has been involved in a number of capital improvement projects.
