 Eleonore Guinther (b.1947)
Born March 30, 1947 near the banks of Germany's River Ruhr, Eleonore Guinther learned painting early on from being an apprentice in her father's studio.
Many of her canvases are open-air studies of the shores of Yugoslavia and Denmark. At the age of 20, she gained wide recognition with Boats Within A Scenery Of A Mediterranean Harbour.
Eleonore Guinther continues to paint today and is married to the painter Bernd Gagel.
